If I’m being honest: there are desserts that look almost too perfect on Pinterest to be real — and then there’s this one. My strawberry yogurt sundae with creamy yogurt ice cream made in the Ninja Creami definitely belongs in the second category. It doesn’t just look beautiful, it tastes just as good as it looks.
I love anything that feels fresh, fruity, and not too heavy, especially in summer. And that’s exactly what this cup is. The combination of sweet, juicy strawberries and incredibly creamy yogurt ice cream is simply perfect. It’s light, refreshing, and somehow feels “clean” without being boring.
What I especially like about it is the mix of textures. At the bottom you have the slightly juicy, chopped strawberries, then the super creamy ice cream, and on top more fresh fruit. The whole thing almost feels like a dessert from a café — except you made it yourself.
For this strawberry yogurt sundae, we simply use the yogurt ice cream base for the Ninja Creami** and add chopped strawberries plus a little vanilla syrup.

Another thing that convinced me: this is not a “heavy” dessert. You know how some sweet treats feel like too much after just two spoonfuls? This one gives you more of a “I could absolutely have a second cup” feeling. Which is dangerous… but also pretty brilliant.
I’ve started making these sundae a lot more often when guests come over. They look fancy, but they’re actually very easy to put together. And that’s the goal, right? Minimal effort, maximum effect. Small details like pretty glasses or decorative skewers can take the whole thing to the next level.

I also noticed that you can easily adapt the cup to your taste. More crunch, different fruits, maybe an extra topping. But for me, the strawberry-yogurt combination is still the classic.
So if you’re looking for something quick, visually appealing, and really delicious, you should definitely try this. For me, it’s currently one of my favorite summer desserts.
